Community Consultation with Lined Up DucksThe Community Consultation phase is an important part of your project and you want to be sure that:

  • You get the right type of data to advance your project,
  • Your project participants and community understand what you’re trying to achieve.

Delivery is usually via the following four steps:

  1. Stakeholder mapping, including identification of who they are and their interest in your project.
  2. Design of a stakeholder engagement strategy to gather the information you need.
  3. Conducting the consultation, including organising venues, issuing invitations to stakeholders and facilitating discussion during the consultation.
  4. Reporting back to the client including the outcomes and opportunities for follow-up with stakeholders in the future.
